Since 2006 guest presentations in the cycle of European theatre at Zagreb Youth Theatre have included: ANIMALI NELLA NEBIA, Teatro Metastasio della Toscan; HAMLET, Space Productions, Bosnia and Hercegovina; FEDRA, Seinendan Theatre, Japan; and ALICA, Slovenian National Theatre. The first visit in 2007 was by the Yugoslav Drama Theatre from Belgrade with a performance of GRASSHOPPERS, RAILS and HADERSFILD. The Slovenian Youth Theatre, Ljubljana performed ONE AND THE OTHER. Then, the Balet Preljocaj from France visited with a performance of N. BITEF and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre performed CIRKUS HISTORIJA; and finally Farm in the Cave from Prague performed SCLAVI – AN EMIGRANT’S SONG. In 2008, visiting theatre groups included: the EnKnap Group with a performance of CELEBRATION, choreography by Lenke Flory and Simone Sandroni; the Slovenian Permanent Theatre of Trieste with a performance of Piero Paolo Pasolini’s PIGSTY, directed by Ivica Buljan; Inbal Pintoiz Izraela with a performance of SHAKER, choreography by Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak; the Royal Flemish Theatre of Brussels with a performance of SING AND BE JOYFUL, directed by Ruud Gielens; and the Theatre and Philharmonic Orchestra of Heidelberg – Städtische Bühne performed Friedrich Schiller’s THE ROBBERS, directed by Martin Nimza.
