Iva Kraljević


Iva Kraljević was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 3 August 1987. She earned her Master’s degree in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2019 as a scholarship recipient of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. In 2023, she became a permanent member of the Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM) ensemble.
At ZKM, she played roles in the following productions: Moj muž (My Husband directed by Dora Ruždjak Podolski), Ćelava pjevačica (The Bald Soprano directed by Suzana Nikolić), Euforija (Euphoria directed by Ksenija Zec), Mala povijest nejednakosti (A Little History of Inequality, directed by Miloš Lolić).
She is a theatre, film, and television actress with notable performances at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, KunstTeatar, &TD Theatre, Moruzgva Theatre, Exit Theatre, Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin, and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. In her previous theatre, film, and television projects, she collaborated with numerous directors, including Borna Baletić, Franko Perković, Romana Nikolić, Judita Gamulin, Tamara Damjanović, Aida Bukvić, Hrvoje Korbar, Marin Pejnović, Ivica Boban, Pippo Delbono, Janusz Kica, Ivica Buljan, Rene Medvešek, Luka Galešić, Tomislav Rukavina, and many others.
Awards: Rector’s Award for the academic year 2015/2016 for significant artistic contribution with the team project Giga Barić. Special recognition for artistic achievement at the 14th International Student Festival in Belgrade in 2019 for the play She Just Came to Make a Phone Call.
