Hrvojka Begović was born in 1982 in Zagreb. She began her professional acting career in 2012 at the Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM) in the play Žuta crta, directed by Ivica Buljan. Already during her graduation performance, playing Elmire in Tartuffe under the direction of Krešimir Dolenčić, she was nominated for the Croatian Theatre Award in 2014 – for Best Leading Actress.
Since 2015, she has been a permanent member of the ZKM ensemble.
She gratuated in Acting from the Academy of Dramatic Art, and in Philosophy and Sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, both in Zagreb.

For the best acting achievement she received the Miroslav Krleža Festival Award (2017) for a role in the play Doviđenja na nebu – Razgovori s Krležom (See You in Heaven: Conversations with Krleža).
