Biografija

Rođen je 1972. u Zagrebu. Kao dječak upisao se 1982. u ZKM-ovo Učilište i odmah počeo sudjelovati i u profesionalnim ZKM-ovim predstavama, ali i predstavama drugih zagrebačkih kazališta (GDK Gavella, ZGK Komedija, GK Trešnja). Diplomirao je glumu na ADU u Zagrebu i 1997. dobio stalni angažman u ZKM-u, u kojem je i danas zaposlen. Osim u ZKM-u radio je skoro u svim zagrebačkim kazalištima i kazališnim grupama. Glumio je i u Pečuhu i Starom Gradu te je dosad odigrao više od 50 različitih predstava među kojima je veliki dio dječjih. Tumačio je uloge u desetak filmova (Večernja zvona L. Zafranovića, Puška za uspavljivanje H. Hribara, Rusko meso L. Nole, Priča iz Hrvatske K. Papića, Metastaze B. Schmidta, Crvena prašina Z. Ogreste), nekoliko TV serija (Dobre namjere, Tužni bogataš, Mamutica), a uspješno se okušao i kao voditelj TV emisija (Hugo, Modul 8, Hladijator, Informativka). Osnivač je Udruge Kazalište, vizualne umjetnosti i kultura gluhih – DLAN i Tejotra UHLOD. U nekoliko prigoda okušao se kao redatelj, ali i kao voditelj dječjih radionica. Osnivač je i voditelj festivala Mali grad Faros u Starom Gradu na Hvaru. Napisao je nekoliko dramskih tekstova za djecu te slikovnicu Europica.

Kristijan Ugrina was born in Zagreb in 1972. In 1982, still a boy, he enrolled into the Zagreb Youth Theater College (Učilište) and immediately also started participating not only in professional Zagreb Youth Theater performances, but also in the performances of other Zagreb theaters (the Gavella City Drama Theater, Zagreb City Theater Komedija, the Trešnja Municipal Theater). Mr. Ugrina graduated in Acting from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, and in 1997 obtained a permanent engagement with the Zagreb Youth Theater, where he still works. Besides the Zagreb Youth Theater, he has worked in almost all Zagreb theaters and theater groups. Mr. Ugrina has also acted in Pécs and Stari Grad, and has so far played in more than 50 different performances, including a large portion of those for children. He has played roles in a dozen films (Evening Bells or Večernja zvona directed by L. Zafranović, Tranquilizer Gun or Puška za uspavljivanje directed by H. Hribar, Russian Meat or Rusko meso directed by L. Nola, Story from Croatia or Priča iz Hrvatske directed by K. Papić, Metastases or Metastaze directed by B. Schmidt, Red Dust or Crvena prašina directed by Z. Ogresta), several TV series (Good Intentions or Dobre namjere, The Sad Rich Man or Tužni bogataš, and Mamutica). Mr. Ugrina was successful as a host of TV shows, as well (Hugo, Modul 8, Hladijator, Informativka). He was a founder of the association Theater, Visual Arts and Deaf Culture – DLAN and actors’ group Tejotar UHLOD. On several occasions he engaged in directing, but also being a host of children’s workshops. He was the founder and host of the children’s festival Small Town of Pharos in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. He has written several dramatic texts for children and the picture book Little Europe (Europica).
