Biografija

Rođena je 30. kolovoza 1971. u Zagrebu. Nakon završetka studija glume na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu nastupala je u predstavama GDK-a Gavella i SK-a Kerempuh, potom u Istarskome narodnom kazalištu GK Pula, u kazališnoj udruzi KUFER i u australskom Kazalištu Frank u Brisbaneu. Od 2003. članica je ansambla Zagrebačkog kazališta mladih. Za ulogu u filmu Blagajnica hoće ići na more Dalibora Matanića 2000. nagrađena je Zlatnom arenom te je na Međunarodnom festivalu u Sočiju proglašena najboljom glumicom. Za ulogu Eve u predstavi Adam i Eva Franke Perković 2002. nagrađena je Marulom za glumačko ostvarenje na 12. Marulićevim danima te Nagradom Ivo Fici za najbolju mladu glumicu ili glumca do 28 godina na 9. Festivalu glumca u Vinkovcima.

Dora Polić Vitez was born in Zagreb on August 30, 1971. Following the completion of the Acting studies at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Ms. Polić Vitez played in performances of the Gavella City Drama Theater and the Kerempuh Satirical Theater, and also in the Istrian National Theater and the Municipal Theater of Pula, in KUFER Theatrical Association, and in the Australian Theater Frank in Brisbane. She has been a member of Zagreb Youth Theater’s ensemble since 2003. In 2000, the role in the film Cashier Wants to Go to the Seaside (Blagajnica hoće ići na more) directed by Dalibor Matanić earned Ms. Polić Vitez the Golden Arena and she received the Best Actress Award at the Sochi International Film Festival. In 2001, for the role of Eve in the performance Adam and Eve (Adam and Eva) directed by Franka Perković, she received the Marul Award for her performance at the 12th Marulić Days and the Ivo Fici Award for the Best Young Actress or Actor up to 28 years of age at the 9th Actor’s Festival in Vinkovci.
