Lucija Šerbedžija
Lucija Šerbedžija was born in Zagreb in 1973. She graduated from the Zagreb University Academy of Dramatic Arts and has been the member of the Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM) company since 2009.

She also performed at many other theatres and events, including the Ulysses Theatre, Istrian National Theatre in Pula, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka, Velika Gorica Scene, Opera & Theatre Madlenianum and worked with directors such as Lenka Udovički, Ivica Buljan, Paolo Magelli, Dino Mustafić, and Erol Kadić.
As a TV and film actress she played a number of roles in Croatian and foreign films and TV series, including The Saint (directed by Philip Noyce), Bogorodica (Madonna, directed by Neven Hitrec), Mondo Bobo (directed by Goran Rušinović), 72 dana (72 Days, directed by Danilo Šerbedžija), Neke druge priče (the part of the omnibus directed by Hanna Slak), and Oslobođenje Skopja (The Liberation of Skopje, directed by Rade Šerbedžija).
Awards: the 1999 Golden Arena at the Pula Film Festival for the leadin role in Bogorodica (Madonna), 2001 Golden Arena for the leading role in Polagana predaja (Slow Surrender), best actress award for Ribica (The Little Fish, directed by Ivica Buljan, Istrian National Theatre in Pula) at the Purgatory International Festival of the Mediterranean Theatre in Tivat, Montenegro, best actress award for Ribica (The Little Fish) at the Mittelfest in Cividale del Friuli, Italy (2007). Her greatest media award is the 2022 Golden Studio for the best drama role of Katarina and Ruža in ZKM’s show Ja sam ona koja nisam (I Am Who I’m Not).
