Biografija

Rođena je 9. lipnja 1968. u Rijeci. Glumu na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu upisala je 1989. i završila 1996. Nakon druge godine studija postala je stipendisticom Hrvatskoga narodnog kazališta u Zagrebu, u kojem 1994. dobiva angažman. Godine 1996. prelazi u stalni angažman ZKM-a, no nastavlja surađivati u zagrebačkom HNK-u, Teatru ITD, HNK-u Ivana pl. Zajca u Rijeci, na Dubrovačkim ljetnim igrama, s Glumačkom družinom Histrion te s Hrvatskom radiotelevizijom. Govori talijanski i engleski jezik.

Godine 1990. dobila je glavnu ulogu Ivkice u televizijskoj seriji Dirigenti i muzikaši u režiji Kreše Golika, odmah nakon toga uslijedila je uloga Mirte u jednom od najhvaljenijih hrvatskih kratkih filmova Mirta uči statistiku Gorana Dukića. Glavne uloge ostvarila je u filmovima: Dok nitko ne gleda Lukasa Nole, Mrtva točka i Prepoznavanje Snježane Tribuson, Mondo Bobo Gorana Rušinovića, Moram spavat’ anđele Dejana Aćimovića, Neka ostane među nama Rajka Grlića, The Show Must Go On Nevija Marasovića, Ti mene nosiš Ivone Juke, a u razdoblju od 1991. do danas i brojne sporedne uloge.

Dobitnica je Rektorove nagrade 1994. za ulogu u ispitnoj predstavi Braća Karamazovi, Zlatne velike arene 1996. za glavnu ulogu u filmu Prepoznavanje Snježane Tribuson, nagrade Marul za glumačko ostvarenje na 13. Marulićevim danima 2003. za predstave Susjeda Ivice Boban u produkciji ZKM-a i Norveške šume Roberta Waltla u produkciji Teatra ITD, nagrade Naj histrionka za 2003. godinu, Nagrade hrvatskoga glumišta 2004. i nagrade Zlatni smijeh na Danima satire 2004. za najbolju žensku ulogu u predstavi Na Sveta tri krala ili kak očete Vladimira Gerića u produkciji Glumačke družine Histrion, Zlatne arene 2007. i nagrade za najbolju glumicu crnogorske Mojkovačke filmske jeseni 2008. za ulogu u filmu Moram spavat’ anđele Dejana Aćimovića, nagrade Marul za glumačko ostvarenje na 23. Marulićevim danima 2013. za ulogu Melite u Ledi Anice Tomić u produkciji ZKM-a te brojnih nagrada za predstave u cjelini poput Brata magarca, Skakavaca, Krijesnica, Zagrebačkoga pentagrama, Ovo bi mogla biti moja ulica, Lede, Kako smo preživjele i drugih.

Novije ZKM-ove predstave u kojima glumi: Emil i detektivi, Kako smo preživjele, Alan Ford, Galeb, Leda, Idiot, Čovjek koji je spasio Europu, Ovo bi mogla biti moja ulica, Zagrebački pentagram, Krijesnice, Veliki Gatsby, Skakavci, Mala sirena, Ana Karenjina.

 

Nataša Dorčić was born on June 9, 1968 in Rijeka. She enrolled into Acting studies at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 1989, and graduated in 1996. After the second year of study, she received a scholarship of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, which also offered her an acting engagement in 1994. In 1996, she transferred to the ZKM Theater for a permanent engagement, but continued to collaborate with the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, the ITD Theater, the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, with Actors’ Group Histrion, and with Croatian Radio and Television. She speaks Italian and English.

In 1990, Ms. Dorčić was offered the main role of Ivkica in televisions series Conductors and Musicians (Dirigenti i muzikaši), directed by Krešo Golik, which was immediately followed by the role of Mirta in one of the most praised Croatian short films Mirta Learns Statistics (Mirta uči statistiku) directed by Goran Dukić. She had main roles in the following films: While No One Is Watching (Dok nitko ne gleda) directed by Lukas Nola, Dead Center (Mrtva točka) and Recognition (Prepoznavanje) directed by Snježana Tribuson, Mondo Bobo directed by Goran Rušinović, I Have to Sleep, My Angel (Moram spavat’ anđele) directed by Dejan Aćimović, Just Between Us (Neka ostane među nama) directed by Rajko Grlić, The Performance Must Go On directed by Nevio Marasović, You Carry Me (Ti mene nosiš) directed by Ivona Juka, and since 1991 to date she has also played a number of supporting roles.

In 1994 Nataša Dorčić was a recipient of the Rector’s Award for the role in the examination performance The Brothers Karamazov (Braća Karamazovi), in 1996, the Grand Golden Arena for the main role in the film Recognition (Prepoznavanje) directed by Snježana Tribuson, the Marul Award for her acting achievement at the 13th Marulić Days in 2003 for the performances The Neighbor (Susjeda) directed by Ivica Boban in the production of the ZKM Theater and Norwegian Forests (Norveške šume) directed by Robert Waltl in the production of the ITD Theater, the Best Actress Award of Actors’ Group Histrion (Naj histrionka) for 2003, the Croatian Theater Award in 2004 and the Golden Laughter Award at Days of Satire 2004 for the best female role in the performance A Midsummer Night’s Dream or As You Like It (Na Sveta tri krala ili kak očete) directed by Vladimir Gerić in the production of Actors’ Group Histrion. Ms. Dorčić also won The Golden Arena in 2007 and the Best Actress Award of the Montenegrin Mojkovac Movie Fall festival in 2008 for the role in the film I Have to Sleep, My Angel (Moram spavat’ anđele) directed by Dejan Aćimović, the Marul Award for acting achievement at the 23rd Marulić Days in 2013 for the role of Melita in Leda directed by Anica Tomić in the production of the ZKM Theater, as well as numerous awards for best performances in general such as Brother Donkey (Brat magarac), Grasshoppers (Skakavci), Fireflies (Krijesnice), Zagreb Pentagram (Zagrebački pentagram), This Could Be My Street (Ovo bi mogla biti moja ulica), Leda, How We Survived (Kako smo preživjele), and the list continues.
